This is one of my (many) OC's, Serena Lang. Long story short, she was a part of an experiment to create enhanced infantry from expendable stock. (the homeless, the deadbeats, the outcasts, orphans, ect) It was called G.E.M.I.N.I. (Genetic, Manipulation, and Mechanical, Integration, of Nonessential, Individuals) She (along with her sister) was originally intended to become a scout/long distance tracker. She was taken into the genetics half of the project, and crossed with red fox DNA, (which is represented by the ears and tail). After the project was deemed a failure and that all those that had been processed were to be 'liquidated', she was rendered unconscious while escaping from G.E.M.I.N.I. personnel. By the time she had recovered, she found herself alone and unharmed, but far from the G.E.M.I.N.I. base. Alone again, penniless, turned into (in her eyes) a monster, and uncertain if even her sister was alive, she lost nearly all hope in life. Deciding to use her enhanced abilities in the only way she could think of, the thing was good at... Killing. Over time, she shoved her emotions aside, and become an assassin. It wasn't until she was sent to murder another OC of mine, (Trevor Falknor) after failing to kill him, she would later try again, only to be stopped once more, by him and his allies. They would meet again, and again since then, and she would actually come to respect him, mainly for his ability to survive every time they met. And she would even start to befriend him. (though unknown to her at the time, he was also a part of G.E.M.I.N.I. but that is a story for another time)
