Description I remembered the view from the Pearl Tower in Shanghai I was in almost two years ago (time sure flies). I really want to go back. A friend and I want to spend some time in China after we've finished school, to visit not only big cities but as well more rural regions. And to improve our Chinese.

I cheated a bit on the background here, it's partly colored by myself and partly a photo I did back then in Shanghai.

Lol, Berlin ist weit davon entfernt, eine leuchtende Stadt zu sein. Zu Berlin würde eher ein Bild am Tage in einem sehr sehr grünen Park passen.

In letzter Zeit beweist du einen beneidenswert guten Sinn für Lichtsituationen bei deinen Bildern. Ich mag jedenfalls die Stimmung im Turm. Die Kombination aus Foto und Zeichnung im Hintergrund fällt auf, wenn man genau hinschaut, aber es stört nicht, denn es funktioniert einfach so wie es ist. Ich finde nur, dass du auf den blanken Himmel hättest verzichten können. An deiner Stelle hätte ich das Dach zusammen mit der oberen Bildkante nach unten gerückt, den Himmel aus dem Bild genommen und somit den Figuren und der Stadt etwas mehr Präsenz gegeben (sie gehen nämlich etwas unter).

Danke sehr, ich leg immer sehr viel Wert auf deine Kommentare.

Findest du? Ich hab mal den oberen Teil weggeschnitten und meiner Meinung nach sah es dann zu künstlich ins Format gerückt aus, da es keinen "Puffer"raum gab. Dein "mehr Präsenz" fände ich eher zu überladen, der Kontrast zwischen Licht und Dunkelheit wäre auch vielleicht nicht so gut rübergekommen. Außerdem wäre die Horizontlinie and den obersten Teil des Bildes gerückt, was -ich hab mal gehört- man vermeiden sollte, wenn man keinen triftigen Grund hätte, dies zu tun.
Hehe, ok, mal ehrlich, nicht, dass ich das vorher alles bereits berücksichtigt hätte, aber vom Gefühl her fand ich so in Ordnung und meine Erklärung jetzt eben scheint mir auch ganz sinnvoll.

It's pretty nice The two are integrated really well; usually when someone works on top of a photo, the end result is a bit cheesy, but this is just lovely. <3
