Description
It's not uncommon for a show to have TFs, though it's uncommon for a show to be known mostly for TFs. This is the tragic tale of Fairy Tale Police Department. You usually know about this show for one of two reasons: You are a kid that happened to be growing up in Australia in the early 2000s and catch it on the telly, or you discovered through the many TF clips that got posted online. Few people actually watched the show on its own merits, sadly. To be fair, the show was mostly made to cash into the fantasy/fairy tale hype that was generated by Harry Potter and Shrek at the time.

As previously mentioned, this show is known for the TFs. And this show has a lot of them, in ALMOST EVERY EPISODE! It gets ludicrous, to the point of making one twonderwhether or not the show's writers had a TF fetish. It would not surprise me! This particular clip comes from the very last episode, where John Fantasy Legend (That is his actual name, I am not kidding) gets temporarily turned into a zebra by accident. It happens at random, much like most TFs on this show. Wanda often TFs the characters, with quick "POOF, YOU'RE AN ANIMAL!" transformations.

Sadly, John does not stay a zebra, which would have been a fun thing to end the show off on. I know they wanted to leave it open for a second season (which is respectable) but it would have been more fun had they kept him as a zebra. That way, they could make it unclear whether or not he got back to normal. Now, is the show worth watching for TFs alone? Not really, even though I like how all of their animal forms always resemble their original human forms. Most cartoons nowadays don't do this, and the animal forms end up looking like almost any other anime.

The show is pretty bland, and stereotypical. Plus, the final episode is a boring clipshow with a predictable ending. Almost all of the TF clips are available on YouTube, but the full episodes are up on Youtube if you really want to watch it. Also, and I just noticed this, but in this episode John has a very similar outfit to what Peter Parker wore in that MTV Spider-Man cartoon. XD All I know is that I want what that zebra is wearing. And I'm not just talking about the outfit, but also that equine form. XD
