Oh, you are too nice! Thanks for faving! It is just a quick experimental doodle. I am trying to find my own style of drawing M and M.

I'm posting a Mello pic later today that I've spend a lot more time on. I'm more pleased with how Mello turned out, so I will probably go back and change my Matt ones and fix them as well. Since I posted this, I'm seeing all kinds of problems with it...

My boyfriend, who was an art major, looked at it today and told me the anatomy is wrong. Apparently, his "ballsack is too low". O_O'

Ehm...I guess I will fix that too.XD

I am new to the MxM community so I appreciate having a place to drool over Matt with others. I finally came out of the MxM closet. XD

Oh not at all! I appreciate that you would even take the time to look at it. I really like your work, so if you have any suggestions I would gladly take them.

I finished both Mello and Matt and have moved the piece above to scraps. I will probably withdraw this one from the contest and enter the finished one...

I was going for a look like Jamie Hewlett does for the band Gorillaz. A mix of super-cartoony with semi-realism:

I totally support that J.H. style you're trying! After experimenting with a bunch of different styles, i can agree that this one could be seen as very suitable. I'll try doing some myself, if you don't mind

PChat would be cool. I've never done it before. I've been thinking about buying a tablet, since it takes me forever to do things with a mouse, and PChat would be another good reason to get one.

I'm glad you think the style works and I would LOVE to see what you can do with it. XD

P.S. I love your Alleycat Matt style that you did on your "At Night" pieces. Yay for stylized MxM.

hahah well, since i support british matt and mello, they just couldn't have missed the punk phase. I was doing a short romeo&juliet story (at night pieces), but never actually got to finish it. When i do, i'll post it on lj in a zip file. I just wanted to do something simple for a change ^^
When my pc gets back, i'm noting you with my ip address and all (PChat over opencanvas and hamachi). Thanks for having interest in it

Yay! I support British Matt and Mello too! I was so disappointed when Mello and Near did not have British accents in the new English dub.

I can also sometimes think of Mello with a Russian accent, but my Matt is always British or sometimes Irish in my mind...

Well, I'm rambling now.

You're not rammbling, trust me....or you shouldn't trust me...?
Maybe Mello's accent dissapeared while he was trying to fit in the american mafia or whatever....which has off corse, failed in stopping him being British ^^
