It's an abstract on 22" x 29" cold-pressed watercolor paper using cheap-ass acrylic paint. I especially liked the textures--the weave pattern was made by painting and stamping corrugated cardboard guts onto the background. You can't see it from the photo, but I painted images with a textile medium so that in the light they reflect.Related content

Mmm, I love you icon- dragonflies are a really important symbol for me. The painting is one I made for my girlfriend, so I just had to include a dragonfly. Thanks for the kind words!

I think this is amazing. I don't know very much about painting, but i feel that the patterns of light and darkness that you used gave this picture a quality of depth unusual in paintings of this style and medium. Great Job.
