I'm so happy to have finally completed this. I lost track of the hours x_x

I've developed a strange interest in designing Indian clothing based on existing characters. I started doodling ideas for Link and Zelda back in January while I was still playing Skyward Sword, but didn't get around to doing anything with them until last month.

These two are my OTP, so I went all out. I even listened to a bunch of classic Bollywood songs from my childhood to get into the mood XD

I thought a long anarkali suit would be a good idea for Zelda, and an achkan for Link with a sail cloth scarf would work nicely. I was going to make him a Master Sword-inspired tulwar, but then I thought it would be too much (I already went crazy with the details...anything more would be insane).

Holy crud, this is freaking awesome. The amount of detail put into the picture is just astounding. I simply love your art style- it's so unique~ The designs on the clothes are just amazing. I could stare at this picture for hours haha.

I can so see this now. Link and Zelda walking across the garden and then bursting out spontanously into a Bollywood-style musical number. This actually reminds me of one such video I saw not long ago (can't remember what the song was called though). Sometimes, I do imagine Zelda all Indian style, or like a big Hindu-style wedding for Link and Zelda, Sarees and everything.

Anyway, I quite like the way the peacock/Loftwings where drawn out and the trees. Zelda's anarkali and patwa dulhan (pardon me if I get it wrong) and Link's achkan work quite well with them and I see all the LoZ-ish throwbacks like the Triforce symbol etc. you've put in.

Great job! You've actually inspired me now to draw something like this...

I grew up watching Hindi films, and I adored Link and Zelda's relationship in Skyward Sword so I guess this was bound to happen

Man, you are so creative!
The way you color is incredibly unique, though I may have said it before. that night sky is gorgeous, and I love the birds resembling the loftwings in the game. I just love it, their faces are pretty as well ^^

They're singing about leaving their world and everything they ever knew in order to be together. The girl even says that a tornado could never separate them. Ah...it's perfect
