And so, when the medic gave him the espresso, he drank of it, and the world -nay, the universe- stood still to him. All around were frozen in time, colors swirling faintly in his vision. He knew what he had to do. He dashed across the bridge, into the enemy base, and took the intelligence. No sound of the announcer was heard. He ran back out with suitcase in hand, but stopped in the middle of the bridge on the way back. He looked about; no one was to be seen. Walking back, he came up to his team again, who was very, very slowly beginning to move. He put the intel next to theirs, and suddenly the world moved again, and he fell to the ground, exhausted.
