Those smiling faces are a big part of why I love dragonflies so much! Even when they are chomping on insect prey I am, "Oh, look at him happily eating that other bug! Adorable!".

Thank you! These big red flame skimmers are awesome. I had to be fast to capture a shot of this beauty, but glad I did.

They are gorgeous! We get them here in my parts too - they love to catch rides on my canoe !

Haha thanks! Dragonfly season will be gone soon so i am trying to make the most out of it!
