I don't know how you manage to capture them?
They are mostly airborne all the time over here lol

The blue dasher dragonflies seem the most tolerant of me and my camera. I secretly think they love to pose!

Still busy learning the basics, but I will get there. At least I got a speedflash today that should spin things up. Macro study continued.

What kind of flash do you use. The flash I bought now is one with wireless trigger option so I can use it of cam. Was the best I could afford. The macroring flash I bought turned out much to slow for this work.

That's the problem! The only flash I have is the built in on my old Rebel T3.

I just bought Neewer 10070994 VK750 Speedlite II-i-TTL 50$ on amazon and good reviews. Did a lot of digging.
