They really are! I am always just so thrilled to capture one in bloom. I took this Monday and by Wednesday they were gone!

Thank you! These flowers only last a couple of days and only bloom once a year. Always so excited to see one in bloom!

The blooms really attract your attention. I supose they must if they want to attract pollinators.

A women I worked with had a cactus that only bloomed once a year at night. She had her camera all set up, hoping to get a photo!
