Thanks friend! This shot makes this guy look far more imposing than he actually is. Funnel web spiders only get about 4 to 20 millimeters long (up to three-quarters of an inch).

Thank you Iris! During warmer months one of the trails I walk is lined with funnel web spider webs. At dusk it's a little unsettling seeing all those little spider faces peering out from the depths of their funnel webs!
