One of the several rattlers we keep in our collection here at the Springs Preserve in Las Vegas. There was a nice piece of glass between me and my lovely friend here.

Snakes ... I should say venomous snakes, freak me out a bit. I don't mind seeing them, but prefer it when they are behind glass!!! I think Australia has a monopoly on the world's most venomous snakes with the Inland Taipan topping the list. Where my friend lives, the south coast of NSW, he occasionally finds snakes. We see one on the road down there every now and then. 

But I digress! It's a wonderful image of a snake! They are beautiful creatures!
