I actually have a phobia and am terrified of butterflies, but even I think this is a beautiful shot. Great job! The soft lighting is captivating!

Thank you so much! That is a fantastic and flattering compliment to receive! I think it is a promising first step that you can find something beautiful that you normally would not. I work at a nature preserve where we have many shows that feature bugs and venomous reptiles and many people with various insect/reptile phobias come to watch to face some of the things that they fear. It is always cool to talk to some afterwards that say they felt much better just learning more about some of the creatures that they had been so afraid of and appreciating them maybe a teensey bit more.

Thank you so much for your kind comment! It was in the shade so I never quite know if I have enough light, but the back light created some interesting effects and patterns.
