Description I think this coyote was thinking, "I wonder if it tastes like chicken?" when he was looking at me.

This is a beautiful shot.  You can see the thoughts in his eyes.

Thank you! He is always wary of me which is a good, healthy thing.

This guy and I are usually hanging out in the same area, but I rarely get him to stay still long enough for a photo. Despite that 100 yard stare he actually accommodated me more than he ever had before. I kept my distance and he didn't stick around much long after I took this, but I appreciate these moments quite a bit.

I know right? I don't think he liked my perfume.

I was testing out my new Tamron 18-400mm lens and this guy obliged me by posing on the ridge above me.

Tamron 18-400mm lens eh? What do you think of it? I bought the same lens last December. I use it with a Nikon D5600.

I haven't used it a ton and I am still getting used to it. I appreciate the versatility it gives me and the extra bit of distance. I'll be testing it a bit more in the next few months.

It is certainly more convenient. I hated having to change lenses all the time. I have a few minor problems with it, mainly focusing issues. You also have to be careful using the flash when taking shots at full zoom.
