Thank you so much! It was so exciting to photograph these beautiful guys as they came down to graze on the cool grass from the mountains.

They are rather freaky looking head on. I had not realized bighorns have a stiff pad rather than upper incisors until I took some photos of these guys. Apparently they grind their food between upper and lower teeth further back in the their mouth. Photography always teaches me new things and gives me new wrinkles in my brain!

And here I thought he lost his dentures.   (kidding ^^ ) ... those bottom teeth do kind of freak me out though, they look so human.

I know! They look crazy, but it does give them a wide arc of exceptional vision.
