Mashima-sensei was at NYCC and he made some sketches of a Nalu daughter and a Gruvia son (see: chiisai-ookami.tumblr.com/post… )
So I had to draw them immedately! She is just the cutest and I really love how her hairdo resembles that of Natsu. He is totally handsome with his eyelashes like his mom's eyes and his father's eyeshapes. I'm totally in love with their designs and honestly, I haven't dared to draw any ft children until knowing their "official" designs by Mashima-sensei himself X3 So hope you guys like my quick doodle of let's call them Luna and Blue

I'm honestly pissed off with how Lazy he got when designing these two. He didn't give them ANY ORIGINAL outfits. They're just wearing smaller versions of their parents clothes. I'd like them both BETTer if they had Unique clothing to THEMSELVES

I hope you are aware that the mangaka did not have weeks or months to spend on proper design of these two as he did with Natsu, Lucy or the other main characters of the series. It was a spontaneous brainstorm during drawing on the New York Comic Con where he sketched them out right from scratch in a request round by fans. And this is incredibly amazing in my opinion, I could never draw a next gen oc within a few minutes. Besides, honestly I think these were just for fun and the mangaka won't start a FT next gen series.
So next time, better get some more information before judging and denoting someone as lazy. Also, if you don't like something be it characters, designs or whatever, don't express your dislike below someone's fanart as it's obviously a place for the artist and other users who LIKE the content, so your opinion is on the wrong place here. Better post it in a thread to discuss this issue with your mutuals or save your breath for positive comments on content you like.

Don't worry I never saw your comment as a dislike of my art as you clearly stated that it's their designs. But you didn't get my words and in your last mention I see that you are bothered by the fandom that is all hyped about them. So you are bothered that others are happy about something? So much that you needed to express your dislike under a related work surely knowing that I was enjoying these designs (otherwise I wouldn't draw them) and that I wanted to share this with others who also like them?
Let me explain how this would look in rl: you go into a bakery and walk over to a group of people who totally enjoy the baker's newest creation telling "Oh you your cake is fine but I hate sweets in general." Wouldn't this make the whole group uncomfortable, would you do this in rl?
To finish up, my point is I get you have another opinion that's fine as I have mine too. We agree to disagree. And still we can respect each other and not pull such awful moves. As I said there are enough others who share your view so discuss this with them while I enjoy their designs with my mutuals. We already wasted senselss time here, we should go back to things we enjoy much more like drawing. I'm ending the discussion here.

Ich frage mich ob er schon lange die Idee zu den beiden Designen hatte oder ob er ganz spontan Nalu und Gruvia zusammen gefused hat a'la wie in Naruto und bleach, wo die Kinder den Eltern sehr ähnlich sehen.^^ Was ja auch nicht schlimm ist. Mir gefallen sehr ihre Gesichtsausdrücke XD

Haha, aber hallo
Es sieht wirklich so aus, dass Mashima-sensei die Charaktere spontan gezeichnet hat: er war auf der New York ComiCon und hatte eine draw request Runde für die Fans eingelegt und die meisten haben sich eben einen Gruvia Sohn und eine Nalu Tochter gewünscht (sie haben sogar über das Geschlecht abgestimmt). Umso toller ist es, wie er sie so gut getroffen hat
Auch bei den Namen kann ich dir ein paar Infos dazu geben: Luna ist einfach von den Fans entstanden und ist das umgedrehte 'Nalu', außerdem passt der Mond gut zu den Sternen, mit den Lucy ja verbunden ist. Nashi wird auch gerne verwendet, weil man schon früher gefragt hat, wie denn das Kind von Natsu und Lucy heißen würde. Daraufhin meinte Mashima-sensei nur 'Nashi', was aber so viel wie 'nichts' bedeutet, also eher von Nichtjapanern als Name fehlinterpretiert

Although Gruvia son's design doesn't please me that much(these lashes don't fit in my opinion. Remind me Rock Lee from Naruto XD), Nashi looks perfect^^
