De:StroyeR III: Search And destroy: The Aftermath

This time i started out making a new render i c4d, because i was tired of using the same renders again and again.

As the previous pieces in the De:StroyeR series, i am telling a story of some sort.
This time the De:Stroyers has completed their strike, and now it's time for the fearsom "Octa-botics" to sweep the area for any survivours... They are the final stage of the annihilation, before the De:StroyeRs moves on to the next world.

Tools of trade:

MAxON Cinema 4D R9
Photoshop CS2
apophysis fractal renderer
and more coffee.

Thanks to:
Stock: Pixel Perfect Digital
(Both the panoramic landscape, and the weird looking old factory)

Enjoy !

Awesome. The lighting, texturing, and forms are great.

You shouldn't have blurred so much, though. If you notice, the entire picture is in focus. (must have been taken on a bright day with a tiny aperture). So, logically, your objects should be in sharp focus as well. The shadows don't look very natural either. Too dark, I think.

Hey ShinotamaTakemuro... (Damn what a name.. Glad there's something called copy/paste..ehehe)

Well... For starters.. Im not using any tutorials, cause i can't find anyone that suits me. So i take a little of this and a little of that, a compiles it into my own way and style.
I started out, by looking at some different tutorials, and thought that this is the way to learn this shit... But damn was i wrong.
Everything i did, never turned out the way it did in the tutorials, so i just went head first into the program on my own.
To tell you the truth... I really don't know what the hell im doing.. But it works for some weird reason, and that is at least something
Im not used to play around in 3DSM... so if you're looking for any advices.. i can't help you out

About yor 3D render:
I like it alot...
It has a very good depth, composition, render and the colors are very nice.
Keep up the good work dude!

Thanks for the reply, I have now got both Cinema 4D and 3D Studio Max so now I can do more , I know about the tutorials thing where none of anyones work ever comes out the same unless its programming such as numbers rather than dragging with a mouse but originality counts.

Anyways, thanks for the comment, keep up the good work yourself
