Not all of Buddy's work is the same! Sometimes he's thrust into new and different situations, like being recruited as an autumn sprite decoration for a parade float. But a costume over his working harness will hardly stop Buddy from getting his vital job done.

At the end of summer, Bo was blindsided by Mr. Lott, suddenly finding himself entered in not just a class, but a town's parade - and with two fawns that are not specialized for driving! Even the arrangement of the fawns is not what Bo would've chosen, but Mr. Lott insisted...

Bo was grateful to have Gowan's help, at least. The woolie rider was not about to let Lowan go show off by herself - now if only Gowan didn't keep getting distracted by the rest of the parade, and paid more attention to the reins.

Buddy, for his part, is doing magnificently at his job, despite being unwillingly dressed up as some kind of harvest sprite to fit in on the float. The service fawnling is alert and ready to assist if anything goes amiss with his handler - when Bo suddenly lurches in his seat, as Gowan cheers for the fireflies, accidentally dropping the reins!

Let's hope that Crumb and Cherry can keep hitch and float from descending into total havoc...

I found a very nice video of a four-in-hand pleasure harness showing, which is what I studied to draw this, my first (but definitely not last!) four-in-hand hitch! -> [here ]

Of course there are some errors, but I had so much fun drawing this entry!

And my 400th deviation as well. :3
