HUGE FILE.Let me get two things out of the way first: Yes, Wailord can actually use splash and yes, this is supposed to look somewhat bad. *cough*second to last panel*cough*
Also, I drew Brendan and Castform for no reason other than I wanted to draw them.
Normally, splash is a rather harmful move. However... wouldn't a WAILORD using it be rather... bad? xD Especially when you go by the Japanese translation for splash-- hop.

You probally don't care anymore but here is a weird fact, waillord is actually quite light, only roughly 800ibs, where real whales are around 300000ibs. As a recent episode of j-witzz pointed out, at that size and weight wailord would actually be lighter then air. So such a splash would not really be that destructive.

Me and my friends were talking about the same thing! how a wailord could use splash and it either cause an earthquake (on land) or a tidal wave (in water) because its so big! xD (or it could just squish the other pokemon...) lol
