but oh well~
I will say, this is *probably* one of the biggest things I've ever painted. it's enormous, I forget the exact measurements, but it's SERIOUSLY enormous.

serious kudos to me *basks in narcissism* for painting in acrylics for once~
it was ridiculously tough, but I DID IT YAY

screw snow
that stuff is too hard to paint lol
it was supposed to have a background of just snow and darkness but nope
Β gave up on that mess real quick

Daaaang, how big is this thing?? If you had to guess... I really wanna know, it helps to imagine the scale xD (I dunno I like big paintings... I totally go to the art store and stare at the HUGE canvasses that are taller than I am and I'm like "I want to paint that" xD)
You're absolutely right, serious kudos to you for acrylics. Dang girl, that's impressive!! I can't do acrylics.. we just do not play nice together anymore xD Snow is definitely hard to paint, in ANY medium (for me at least). This is a really great and well executed concept--I love that he "glows" darkness, and the glowy bits on his severed paws....and speaking of paws they are freaking awesomely done btw. That hair is amazing too! Fabulous job, seriously, this is wonderful

ooooo dang that IS big!! Big for me anyway xD I like painting things big but then it's so easy to lose sight of the "big picture", and I end up not seeing things as a whole D: It's hard!

my teacher would always tell me though
that if you periodically step a few feet away and look at it
then it's easier to judge how it looks as a whole!

I know how frustrating it is when you photograph a painting and the colours just aren't the same and the general vibe of the painting is lost. ;3;
Oil paints can be worse since they take aaaaaages to dry, i did an A1 oil painting for my A level project and it took well over 6+ months to dry, maybe even longer. ;_;

Yep, it was displayed while it was still wet and it was displayed within reach so anyone could have touched it and smudged it. Luckily no one did though XD
