So..you find images on Google and ModelMayhem, trace over the photos and sell the base?
While the photographer and model see none of the money you are making off of their work?

Yes. to put it blatantly. but i do not make much profit on these either way. And unfortunately the model doesn't get paid either way for her picture. What's equally bad is neither does the photographer. (Unless used in a magazine)
And it's not like im taking another person's Drawings. :/ ALOT of people do that but i use photo's to draw the bodies correctly, so my anatomy doesn't screw up. I did this for BASE work, so im getting paid for my skill at making the base. People do that for ALOT of money and it's normally a VERY famous artist.
So i really don't feel like what im doing is bad at all.

Doesn't matter if you don't get hardly any money ,you're profiting from it without the original artists consent or the consent of the model.
You're ripping off that artist and profiting from their art.

Did you draw the original art? ^_^ If not, you should probably have a proper credit and link to the original and not claim the "art" as yours, but only the traced base.

It's a photo base. You can see that in the upload. :0 all i did was make it a base, it's not against the rules cuz it's a stock image~

Ah I see, but that photo and the model must be someone's so don't they need creditting? I'm sure you know what you're doing and I'm just curious~

i know alot of models and they really dont care even if you show them what you draw unless it's them as them, so i dont tell them most of the time, i get my stock images from google and Model Mayhem.

The process that she goes through when doing these
is she saves a whole bunch of stock photos at one time and never thinks to save where she found the original.
In her artist comments it says " Photo ref. used." Which is the best she can do! lol
