i would love to see this come to life, it reminds me of a fic idea i was stewing around where Nick it's a ex-conman who hustled the bigest and meanest mammals of all animalia and was caught by Jack Savage and end being a consultant in many cases by force- After one of his bodyguards was murdered by unknown forces Nick takes fresh from the academy Judy Hopps as his new ward to find out who killed hiws old friend.
Why he did it? because Jack requested her, why he keeped her? because she's a talented and unique bunny that picked his interest in the game. Β Β

Well the books are written from Watson's perspective, and we are introduced to the series through John's perspective aswell. So judy would still be the pov character, even with Nick being the protagonist.Β
