Nope, my lines are just more or less cluttered, depending on how much effort I put into the drawing. So this is very much a digitally refined sketch. I also kind of went overboard with the contour lines on the pillow, to make it feel even more comfy when Nick snuggled into it x3Β

Allow me to butt in here: Nah, you're not alone with this. They are more of a brotp to me. I personally see them as platonic life partners, which doesn't exclude cuddling. I'm generally not really fond of romance but I like the portrayal of physical affection between BFFs. Wouldn't even be out of character since Judy seems to be the touchy-feely kinda bun (remember the selfie promo clip for the movie), romantic or not. I guess that's what I love so much about these two. They have a really strong connection despite having known each other for such a short time period. And a big part of me is very grateful that the movie didn't drift into the cliched romance plotline as they've done with a lot of disney movies prior concerning two main characters that are male/female. It's nice to have room for interpretation at the end of the movie, so eventually everyone can see their relationship the way they want it to be. Even though, truth be told, I'm not utterly repulsed by the thought of them being a romantic item. It's just that I've had my fair share of ships becoming canon, which in the end didn't rly align with how I wanted things to evolve between the characters (like I don't need to see them getting married/have children or anything). I didn't like it most of the time. To me these two have a somewhat queerplatonic type of relationship that doesn't really need to go anywhere past the way it is since it's already quite beautiful the way it is portrayed in canon-verse. #sorryforthenovel
