*Phew* That’s five pages of comic. Damn, I need to learn being more efficient with comics. At this pace the first chapter will take a while to complete.
This is NOT the first chapter of Nirlock. It was supposed to be just a tie-in, not directly related to the main plot. So yeah, SOMEDAY, Nirlock chapter 1 will be out.

What is it? An AU webcomic with the scope of merging the characters and ideas of Zootopia with the brilliant series Sherlock. I am a huge fan of both, and I think if we don’t screw it up it will work brilliantly with Nick and Judy. It will NOT be a Sherlock remake with Zootopia-skins slapped onto the characters. What we want to do is imagine what Nick and Judy would be like if they were to take on the roles of Sherlock Holmes and John Watson. I won’t go into detail about the actual plot, but I sure hope you will enjoy it!
Who is involved? :iconthewyvernsweaver:, :iconlgarniger: and :iconwartoxdude: to name a few. It’s my project, but they all agreed to help and they pretty much came up with the plot outline and wrote the dialogue. I’ll mainly take care of the visuals.

Thank you, apparently the app version of DA didn't like the format of the file, or something like that, so when I tried to open it in the app it only showed the cover.
A shame it won't be updated, but I respect your decision to do so.

That's why I linked the tumblr version! You should be able to read that instead. (even if you don't have tumblr). And yeah, moods change, and interests fade away. I don't do a lot of zootopia stuff at all lately, seems like i have moved on to other things. Two years is more than I usually spend on one fandom, so it was time fo me to get some change.

We didn't have everything planned out, but I believe its save to say that nirlock was being framed for the murder. We also had a design for a moriarty character which I enjoyed quite a lot.

This is comic really gives us a taste of this universe and sets the mood perfectly. TheWyvernsWeaver did a fantastic job on the dialogue and you did a wonderful job on the art. I am even more excited for the first official chapter!

EDIT: I should also note that Weaver is not doing the dialogue for the actual comic. Those are just some quick lines he came up with after being exposed to some of my sketches, it was rather spontanious
