Hello everyone!Yepp, I had a little secret this month!
The opportunti came up to work on the storyboard with Kulkum and TheWyvernsWeaver
on their amazing zootopia AU webseries - Sunderance!

I think this storyboard (comic-being) one has a lot of emotion I got. But I don't hate the comic one. It is just, well, more comfort than the real one. I dunno, maybe I like to keep the drawing in original as Disney looks like. Great job!

Would anyone be mad if I said I wouldn't have minded this being the final draft for this chapter of Sunderance? This is absolutely amazing Robert and you did such an excellent job on these storyboards!!!

I agree with you, nothing wrong with either of the drafts! No sir! Both amazing! but in MY opinion,Wyvern is the man when it comes to darker themed action/romance and linear noir style.(right?) But Rob's attention to details, like for an example, shadowing back of the chair, when nick sits down. I had hard time figuring out the first time seeing Wyverns draft, that it was a chair. Not a big deal of course! it's just a chair but i did go read Kulkum's writen version just to be sure of that little detail. (and Nick's feet being plain white, in that same frame, small stuff but yeahΒ Β )
This draft being so Wilde/ Hopps lovey dovey, combined with Rob's talent to draw so beautiful facial expression's and soulful eyes. It just works better, considering the theme of this chapter! Awesome work Rob! i hope to see more Wilde/Hopps related work from you!

now i wonder, why dont you start a comic from one of the other fanfics from kulkum and weaver?
like savage dark or here are dragons? (if it didnt come in mind until now)

it feelslike i am taking a glimpse into an alternate universe that is mostly the same, but with minor changes
like here in that you are the one working with Kulkum instead of WyvernsWeaver for Sunderance and the like...and that is an interesting thing to imagine.
and it is even more interesting to imagine Wweaver doing your comics in his style...

and if my memory serves this is the second time you drew Jack Savage, and the other being your Tribute to Samurai Jack with that character being the titular Samurai..

The is pretty detailed for a "sketch".
I feel that Nick and Judy have fallen a bit out of character compared to previous pages, not sure if it's the art style or the story... Guess it doesn't matter as it doesn't prevent me from enjoying this piece.
