This is from back at 8 Mar 2023. I didn't shade it due to how busy the semester was at the time. Although it looks fine, I'll admit I feel a bit embarassed about it X3

Anyway, for lore:
I mentioned before in a previous post's description that Mona had a prior owner when she was a Sprigatito. That owner was Luiz Malva, a Paldean chef who was pretty successful in his time, and had moved to Alola to expand his and Mona's horizons

Mona was his personal companion, almost like a child to him. He was married once before, but his wife passed away about a year before he adopted Mona

Chef Malva eventually passed away too due to stress-related illness, and none of his immediate family ever thought of taking Mona in. She was taken into a Pokémon shelter, but was eventually adopted by Minoru alongside Leto, a Litten she met at the shelter

After she's all grown-up to a Meowscarada, Mona has grown very fond of the jazz pianist. She considers him a very close companion, and in many ways Minoru reminds her of Luiz, the very first human she bonded with
