I wouldn't be surprised if this is a new mechanic. Team of 6 is out so you ask your rotom in your pokedex to come out of it and fight. Then when battle is over he goes back in. Maybe you can store a refrigerator and an oven in your bag aswell so you can switch formes in battleΒ
