A request....and totally relevant considering the recent, mediocre remake.I understand why it was done but it just felt inappropriate to me :/
Anywaaay, had fun playing with foreground and background elements. The gold killed me x_x

It had a totally different feel from the original. There was NO connection between any of the people there and it was more of a "Oooh look it's HER/HIM" star power thing than an effort for people to reconcile their differences and come together.
Plus the rapping really killed it for me.

Don't even get me started on the rapping. That was... no. Just no. D: I was frowning the entire time, whereas my relatives were going "OMG OMG SO COOL". The majority of them were younger than me, so I don't blame them. And not to say rap isn't a terrible genre, it just didn't fit AT ALL with the song. -_-' sigh...

I wasn't a big fan of the remake, either. The only thing really keeping it acceptable for me was that it was done by the original writers...so it wasn't like another ripoff cover.
