Description All Angles so you can see the happy expression better. I must say its very difficult to pull off much emotion on a moving jaw mask and even more so with a taxidermy jawset.

So please let me know what u think ans if anything looks off?

i love your mask, i'm a fellow upcomming maker myself, and am agonizing over how you managed to make yours the way you did, did you follow a template? or what?

this is a very old style of mine. it was made using sintra plastic as the main frame work then i would build out the skull with plastic mesh material. last was foamies for the lips and comfort and foam to build up the face shape.

Oh no, that's where the resin eyes were going. That suit has tear duct vision.

Tear duct vision? I know they usually have holes in the tear ducts but I always wonder what you used to cover the eyes so you can't see in.

You use some sort of tightly knit black material usually to cover the holes right next to the eye, and that's where people look out of.

Okay that's what I usually use I wasn't sure if you used some type of metal mesh.

Is the different colors meaning different consistency? Or is it just what you had lying around?

Are the ears made out of foam?

Ahh. :3 Thanks. One more question- If you're doing a full head, how many yards of fabric is a safe bet to buy? I don't want to just guess and get stuck half way through, having to buy more.

If it has small ears, a yard would be fine. If you're inexperienced you should probably get an extra yard just in case to make up for any mistakes you may make.

This looks amazing! you really are a wonderful suit maker x3 im surprised your not more well known! Is that softish foam ore the more denser stuff that almost feels like cardboard?

in the last picture the base muzzle could be a bit longer down i think. it looks like a big gap from the muzzle and the jaw if that makes sense. hope that helped some.

other than that its looking pretty awesome.
