After the fall, Steele had to spend some time recovering from his wounds and even If he lost some followers and popularity, he still acted like a bully. When his owner needed a new dog for the team, he bought a female pure breed husky, her coat was light gray and before anyone could advise her not to be too close to Steele, he already won her heart, her name was Nia, she was really sweet and really naive, so when the leader of the dog team approached her, she was extremely exited...
Steele though had another plans, he heard that his owner needed a new pup to train to become the leader of the team, and he was thinking to wait until Jenna and Balto had pups, because the traits of both parents where really good... The malamute could not accept that one wolf - dog would become the leader; he tricket Nia to have pups together, but it didn't turn out as expected, there were just 3 pups in the litter, one of them died few days later because of ilness, the next one, a male that looked a lot like Steele was really weak and a dissapointment to him, his hope was in his daughter, Zuri, who was the strongests and a good pup to be a leader... Sadly Steele failed in his mission as his owner brought home one of Balto and Jenna's pups, a female named Kiah...

As the years passed, Kiah and Zuri were always trying to be better than the other, Zuri to not dissapoint her father and Kiah to prove that not for being part wolf she was less capable...

Z: really think you could achieve something wolf - dog?

K: my heritage has nothing wrong, and I can do whatever yo do and better

Z: well, we can solve this easily... I bet our owner will choose me as the new leader dog

The next day the race took place and after some minutes Kiah was elected ro be the new leader, Zuri was in shock but tried to hide it...
