Description
It's important to have someone to look up to in life.-
A light yet simple coloring/minimalist lines for these two characters, and just one piece of finishing some older concept sketches (wip's) that never saw daylight until now.
Most will be transformed into some sort of digital artwork, if I can get the pencil sketches to show up exactly they way they do in real life.
Then maybe I'll share a few of those as well
I'm currently adjusting to a new scanner since the old one needed to be replaced.

Positive role models are definitely rare, yet it is important to have them. In fact, what is it that makes a positive role model? Well, if you ask me, I would say a person with tons of life experience is such a person, and such people have often lived a long and eventful life. It might just be how I see it, but that's probably why one of the characters is a turtle; they've lived through it all, experienced it all... they can put a lot of what they've learned into practice, and thus is would be foolish not to look up at them.
The other character might be a positive role model in a different way. Since that character is so small, they have seen life from a totally different perspective. People usually don't pay them any mind; they are often overlooked or looked down upon, often forgetting that they might be the ones that have seen things that others haven't seen while looking up. They're also role models with their own experience.
I really love the style you've gone for here. The lined paper look gives it a very childlike dimension, almost like this was drawn by someone who drew their heroes in their school textbooks. It also looks a little like an album cover from an indie band. The question remains though: are they called Role Models, or is it just the name of the album?
All in all, this is a great picture. Keep up the good work!
