big long personal headcanon: hvitur was a second/third circle? icewing soldier until! deaths of his friends and comrades convinced him to join the talons of peace to end the war. he meant well, but the comrades he had left judged this decision harshly. in the talons of peace he met asha!! he thought he was better than all the dragons in the top until asha kinda put him in his place. then hvitur is attracted to her lole. they become mates and are like those. stereotypical “annoying” couples that do lovey dovey things all day, whether or not in front of other dragons. they die on the same night... strange how soulmates work. the whole top, ESPECIALLY the dragonet’s guardians, as they were closer to those two, are shaken by their deaths and y’know what? the guardians name clay after what hivtur and asha wanted their firstborn to be named.
