Description NOTE:
This is my list of people and characters I sympathize with including a couple of famous people I look up to and admire as well as a couple I feel bad for.

- Toymaker (Spy Kids 3D: Game Over)
- Quasimodo (The Hunchback Of Notre Dame).  He's pretty much the first thing that comes into my head when someone asks me about tragic characters in media.
- Gaston (Beauty And The Beast).  I know what you're thinking..."Him? Really?".  Well yes,  because while he may come across as a Yandere there are lot more facets to his personality than just being obsessed with Belle and wanting her to marry him because of how beautiful she is,  in fact it's thanks to Trudi-Roses's fanfics that I learned to see this guy in a different light than how others see him.  He's pretty much a reverse of the Beast,  Beast starts off as being most beast than man but becomes more human while Gaston starts off human in nature but becomes more monstrous.
- Dexter Morgan (Dexter).
- Matilda (Matilda).
- Del Griffith (Planes, Trains and Automobiles).  Out of all of John Candy's characters, this is his most tragic one. Although he's a very happy character who likes to share his wisdom with everybody and his happy-go-lucky attitude towards life, he's actually a very tragic soul. Because poor Del has no place to stay for the holidays and his wife passed away,  he has no one to go home to on Thanksgiving. So it is very heartwarming at the end when Neal introduces him to his family and lets him spend the holidays with him.  I also would be remiss if I forgot to mention the pony version of him that appeared in the MLP: Friendship Is Magic episode Hearthbreakers.
- Harold (Hey Arnold)
- Sherman Klump (Nutty Professor 1996). As I mentioned in my favorite remakes list, I like the remake of the Nutty Professor better than the Jerry Lewis version because it's got more depth than the original. For one thing, Sherman's a lot more likable than Julius in the original, Julius was basically a nerdy, socially awkward teacher who got picked on a lot and invented a potion to make himself attractive just to impress a woman he had a crush on.  Sherman on the other hand..he's much more relatable,  while he is a teacher/professor type, he's genuinely a good-hearted man who is made the butt of the joke because of his weight and I know there are a lot of people who can relate to this because there may have been a time in which they have struggled with their weight too, also in the end he learns that he's better just being himself and that's a good lesson for all of us.  This is especially effective in this day and age considering the whole 'body-shaming' thing and the recent South Park episode that lampooned it.
- Grim (The Grim Adventures Of Billy And Mandy)
- Pinhead (Hellraiser).
- Freddy Krueger (NOES franchise). Mainly because of how he was treated by his abusive father and the teasing he got when he was young.
- Gollum (Lord Of The Rings)
- Edward (Edward Scissorhands).
- Richie Gecko (From Dusk Till Dawn).
- Kate Fuller (From Dusk Till Dawn) -  Because she loses not only her brother but her father as well.
- Aaron Green (Get Him To The Greek). I felt so bad for him, all he wanted was to get Aldous to put on a concert and yet Aldous put him through hell. It could have been so straightforward if Aldous didn't act like such a prick.  I honestly believe that Aldous was the real villain of that movie and not Sergio,  because Aldous came across as a bit of an asshole.
- Joe (Help, I'm A Fish). It's easy to see where Joe is coming from, after all - we eat fish for dinner, and it's natural that he wants revenge.
- Cameron Poe (Con Air). He was just trying to defend his wife..and he ended up on a plane full of convicts, and unlike the rest of the convicts on the plane he's genuinely nice and isn't unstable like they are.
- Francis (A Bug's Life). Poor Francis gets picked on by the flies just because he happens to be a ladybug and they think he's a woman. I always felt sorry for him because of that.
- Erik/Phantom Of The Opera (Phantom Of The Opera)
- Kenny (South Park).
-  Eddy (Ed, Edd N Eddy).  Especially considering how awful his brother turned out to be,  yes...I feel bad for Eddy sometimes.
-  Hannibal Lecter (Silence Of The Lambs).
- Jack Torrance (The Shining).
- Mr Freeze (Batman: The Animated Series). Although the Schwarzenegger version in Batman and Robin has a bit of a tragic story as well, it's handled better in the animated series and it works for him.
- Goliath and the Manhattan Clan (Gargoyles).
- Both Blues Brothers..in particular Jake.
- Barbara and Adam Maitland (Beetlejuice). They're ghosts and they're trying to scare the Deitz family out of their house but nothing ever seems to work for them, and when they call on Beetlejuice to help them..it just makes things worse.
- John J. Rambo (Rambo franchise).
- Machete Cortez (Machete/Machete Kills).
- Doctor Doofenschmirtz (Phineas and Ferb).
- Fegan Floop (Spy Kids franchise)
- King Haggard (Last Unicorn).
- Robbie Rotten (Lazytown).
- The Firefly family (House Of 1000 Corpses/Devil's Rejects)
- Hessian Horseman (Sleepy Hollow).  My favorite Christopher Walken role and actually the first introduction I got to Walken as a whole,  the Hessian may seem like your typical Blood Knight who goes around killing people,  decapitating them and drinking their blood as if he was some kind of vampire but it's hard for me to not sympathize with him because I know what losing a beloved animal companion feels like and I know how horrible it feels.  Besides,  he's not really all that bad -  he wasn't in control of his actions when in headless form because Lady Van Tassell had his skull and was controlling him at the time.
- Archangel Gabriel (The Prophecy trilogy).  Granted, he is a vengeful archangel who hates humanity but it's for a good reason,  he fears that the lord has started to favor humans or 'talking monkeys' as he calls them over angels and it is for that reason why he wants to start a war between humans and angels,  I think we all can relate to him on so many level regarding how low humanity as a whole has sunken.
- John Landis.  I LOVE this guy,  he is one of my favorite directors and it saddens me to hear that people are still accusing him of being responsible for the incident on the set of the Twilight Zone movie, when really nobody knows anything about what set it off to begin with,  and I even real bad for because movies like Blues Brothers 2000 put his directing career on hiatus for a while until he did episodes of 'Masters Of Horror' and a few other tv show episodes before coming back with Burke and Hare.
- Michael Jackson.  The media was just flat out cruel and insensitive especially during the late 2000's and once those pesky rumors started spreading around him.  MJ never deserved to be treated the way he did and I think this definitely shows in some of his more autobiographical works,  especially when you look at 'Ghosts'  (1996) -  the Maestro (played by MJ himself) is viewed as a freak by the Mayor because he's different than the people in Normal Valley and also this serves as a mirror of sorts to MJ's own personal life considering how in the early to late 90's all sorts of nasty rumors about him and accusations of him being a child-molester arose and the media had the habit of making him some kind of joke/punchline and treated him like he was some kind of psychopathic sideshow freak rather than the eccentric but good-hearted person he truly was (heck, they're still trying to dig up information about him even though he passed away in 2009 which I don't think is nice at all, and there are still people who believe he was guilty and that he was a child-molester) - the Mayor (also played by MJ) gathered the townspeople and talked them into being his angry mob because he himself viewed the Maestro as a freak.  Those people don't understand what really went on at all.
- Jay Leno.  Leno and I are actually quite similar in someway, for one thing we're both insanely good storytellers,  and like Leno - I am self aware and know there are people there who think what I do is moronic even though it's supposed to be like that,  we're both hated for insanely stupid reasons (me because of how bad trolls think my work is and Leno  -  it's either the 'he's not funny' excuse or the 'he screwed Conan over' excuse) -  with the latter I pretty much have experienced the same thing OL with forum admins who - like what NBC executive Jeff Zucker -  have screwed me over in a lot of ways as well as other people online who I thought were my friends but turned out to be using me as their punching bag. Yet despite the bad reputations we've both gotten,  you'll find that me and Leno are actually very nice people who just got abused and taken advantage of by people who didn't know better.   We're also very passionate about our hobbies and the things we collect -  i.e my plushie collections, my comics,  my multitudes of books, video games, and music cds as well as movie magazines including Makeup Artist Magazine and Leno with his cars, motorcycles and other vintage automobiles.  Of course the only thing we don't have in common is the chin...Leno's chin is legendary and well mine's just normal sized.  But I can sympathize with and see myself in Jay as well.   When I read Leno's autobiography I discovered what a rough time he had been through even before becoming a comedian and also when I heard about the book 'The Late Shift' and how he was pretty much being pushed around by his controlling dragoness of a manager Helen Kushnik (played in the movie adaptation by Kathy Bates),  I learned that even the brightest of comedic superstars can have a rough-start.
- Simon Cowell.   I put Simon on here because we both like cartoons and Disney movies,  are both very honest -  in Simon's case - brutally honest,  and like him i'm not afraid to speak my mind.  Of course I don't break as many hearts as he does though.  I also know what i like and what I don't like,  and when I say I don't like something like say a certain show, website,  franchise,  movie, comic or character I have my reasons and am not afraid to share them - of course like Simon, I have had my share of people who have argued with me about my opinions and have called me out,  but like Simon -  I am only expressing my opinion and not offending anyone...if they get upset with me for any reason whatsoever... that's mostly their problem if they can't handle criticism and resort to slinging figurative mud at me to make up for it or act like a whiny teenager.  As someone who can actually handle criticism - I at least can tell the difference between actual criticism and something like "omg this story sucks!" -  I can honestly tell that if you expect me to say something nice about a site that's meant for trolling purpose or a forum that's full of complete bassholes,  then forget it -  that would be lying...and I would only be doing it to get people like that to shut up.  Besides,  i'm all about honesty.  I sympathize with Simon and can relate to him a lot,  I mean yeah I know he's brutally honest and what he says to the contestants isn't nice but he's just telling it like it is,  he's telling you what he thinks and there are oversensitive contestants that throw hissy fits over it just because of what he told them.  You don't think Simon knows how you feel?  Simon was a victim of bullying and of being picked on when he was younger too you know,  it's true.  He's only doing his job and there's nothing wrong with that.  And yes as I mentioned,  I see myself in him sometimes.
- J.P Valkanheiser (Nothing But Trouble). He may be an insane 106 year old man but he's been in Vietnam and not only that, he's a judge and he's just doing his job,  even if the way he does it is more than a little bit out of the norm what with all those deathtraps in his house and that rollercoaster,  he's probably got a lot of stories about what it was like for him back in the old days and each story in general is just very heartbreaking.
- The Grinch (How The Grinch Stole Christmas).  This incarnation of the infamous Dr Seuss character is from the live-action movie starring Jim Carrey.  When the Grinch was young,  he had a crush on Martha May but he got made fun of by the young Augustus who exclaimed that he didn't have a change with her because he was well...an 8 year old that was covered in fur.   I know what it feels like to be different and I know what being bullied is like, and I really don't like how society is to people who are different and the same goes for characters like our green-furred friend here.  Like for example in Michael Jackson's Ghosts (1996) -  the Maestro (played by MJ himself) is viewed as a freak by the Mayor because he's different than the people in Normal Valley and also this serves as a mirror of sorts to MJ's own personal life considering how in the early to late 90's all sorts of nasty rumors about him and accusations of him being a child-molester arose and the media had the habit of making him some kind of joke/punchline and treated him like he was some kind of psychopathic sideshow freak rather than the eccentric but good-hearted person he truly was (heck, they're still trying to dig up information about him even though he passed away in 2009 which I don't think is nice at all, and there are still people who believe he was guilty and that he was a child-molester)-  the Mayor (also played by MJ) gathered the townspeople and talked them into being his angry mob because he himself viewed the Maestro as a freak.   That movie also serves as a commentary on society as well.  Yeah,  I definitely feel sorry for the Grinch because I know how harsh society is to those who aren't the norm.
- Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin (Batman Returns).  He may be made to be a grotesque hybrid of human and bird but...you can't help but get the feels when you find out about what happened to him as a child and how he was treated.  I mean he was thrown into the sewers as a baby by his own parents...all because of his deformities.  All he wanted to do was be accepted by society but unfortunately,  it just didn't go well for him.
- Carrie White (Carrie)
-  Hugo "Hurley" Reyes (Lost)
- Ash Williams (Evil Dead trilogy).
- Anna Valerious (Van Helsing)
- R.L Stine (Goosebumps).  Apart from the fact we're both writers,  there's also the whole being picked on and tormented thing that I have in common with him and using writing as a means to forget about those horrible incidents and let loose in our own wild imaginations and we're both perceived as being somewhat creepy but are genuinely sympathetic and nice.
- Lydia Deitz (Beetlejuice)
- Genie (Aladdin).  Like Genie and also like Robin Williams who voiced him,  I like to entertain people especially my friends and make them happy.  I  also like to enjoy myself and have fun while doing it.  I also am a good friend to those that I care about and know how to make them feel better.
- Josh Nichols (Drake and Josh)
- Cosmo Kramer (Seinfeld)
- Rafe Guttman (Bordello Of Blood).   Pretty much the whole being snarky thing that applies to Edmund could also apply to Rafe when it comes to the similarities between us.  Well that and we're both jokesters and make wisecracks.
- Charley Brewster (Fright Night 1985).
- Gonzo (The Muppets). Because i'm weird and proud of it.
- Seymour (Little Shop Of Horrors 1986).
- Seth Brundle/Brundlefly (The Fly 1986)
- Cheese Sandwich (MLP: Friendship Is Magic)
- Pinkie Pie (MLP: Friendship Is Magic).
- Charlie Kelly (It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia)
- Adam Webber (Blast From The Past).  While I am not as insanely gifted as Adam,  I am very intelligent just like him while still being innocent and naive at times but also like him I have very good manners.  My manners are so good in fact that I don't even swear or use insulting slurs of any kind,  the only times I ever do swear is if I am ticked off by particularly annoying people that try to pick on me or my friends,  but that's about it.
- Ash Williams (Evil Dead trilogy)
- The Monster (Mary Shelley's Frankenstein).
- Jerry Dandrige (Fright Night 1985). There's a scene where Jerry tells Amy that she reminds him of someone he once knew and loved a long time ago,  and there's a portrait of his former lover on the wall.  It makes you wonder what happened to her,  and also I know that Jerry probably misses her a lot.
- Megamind (Megamind)
- Prince Vlad/Dracula (Bram Stoker's Dracula).  My favorite incarnation of the infamous vampire,  this version of the character is the most interesting one for numerous reasons.  As I mentioned in my Dracula meme,  I stated that I can see really myself in this character mainly because i've lost a loved one myself as of recent.   His backstory is a very tragic one that incorporates the historical figure Vlad Tepes/Vlad The Impaler into it,  Vlad The Impaler was Bram Stoker's inspiration for Dracula in general.  He returns from the battle only to find that his wife has committed suicide after she thought he was dead. And also I like how it uses the reincarnation angle with Mina (Winona Ryder) being a reincarnated version of his wife Elizabetha,  and also the priest at the beginning also later being Abraham Van Helsing (Anthony Hopkins).  Losing a loved one can hurt as i've already mentioned, and I know how it feels.
- Danny Trejo.  Well we have a similar backstory,  we both used to be the opposite of what we are now -  I used to be somewhat of an internet troll wannabe but of course I failed at that,  I used to break the no-copyrighted images rule on here with photomanips I did on the old account of mine but overtime I learned to accept the errors of my ways and to better myself by helping myself and helping others,  Trejo used to be a criminal before going to prison and reforming,  and now he teaches others through his movie roles that being evil doesn't pay and that's the message I teach to people that try to harass me or my friends online.
- Seth Gecko (From Dusk Till Dawn).  Okay, so he and his brother Richie (Quentin Tarantino) are both criminals that are wanted for various crimes throughout the state but he's the more level-headed one,  he doesn't harm anyone or kill them - that he has to and he's the opposite of his brother who is a paranoid,  psychotic mess who is a sex offender.  He didn't mean to get the Fuller family involved in that vampire situation at the Titty Twister,  he and Richie were just looking for a place to hide out for the night and yeah I know both of them kidnapped the Fullers and all,  but they had a somewhat good reason to - they need a getaway vehicle and the Fuller family truck was the perfect candidate. Plus I feel bad for both of them,  even though Richie was a psychotic mess with several things wrong with him...I felt bad for both him and Seth  at the same time.
- Doug Ross (E.R).
- Katy Perry. She's a terrific singer who knows how to have fun but when you read about what happened with her brief marriage to Russell Brand...yeeeeah,  I feel bad for her because when I see her in photos posing with Russell she looks like she was genuinely terrified of him and well...can't say I blame her,   Russell's just well...extremely messed up in the head -  not helped by the fact he's an ex-drug addict, bipolar and was bulimic and a self-harmer.  I'm sorry but i'm inclined to side with Katy here,  the poor gal ended up therapy sessions after what had happened.   Yeeeeah....i'm sorry to all the fans of Russell's out there,  but I think Russell's the one to blame for that whole mess to begin with. After all he's the one he pressured her into marriage and not the other around (although he's going to be a father of sorts now,  which makes me weep for the poor woman who's going to have his kid).  I'm glad that Katy is back on her feet and doing well.
- Merton J. Dingle (Big Wolf On Campus).
- Abed Nadir (Community)
- David Kessler (An American Werewolf In London).  It may have not such a bright idea to go down the London moors,  but I still feel awful for him and what happened to him after the attack -  sure,  losing your best friend to the cruel mistress known as death is one thing but for said friend to come back from the dead just to tell you that you're going to become a snarling bloodthirsty werewolf at moonrise,  that just makes things even more tragic.  Especially regarding David's transformation...I mean that process was genuinely painful and you can tell he was in a great deal of pain.
- Eric Draven (The Crow series)
- Seth Brundle/Brundlefly (The Fly 1986).  It was a simple mistake that caused him to turn into a human/insect hybrid,  it was never his fault,  okay...so he was drunk that night and probably should have remembered to close the telepod door but still...what happened to him was not only horrific but also very heart-breaking as well,  as he slowly became a human/insect hybrid and lost not only his humanity but also his mind.
- Jun/Unknown (Tekken Tag 1 and 2)
-  The Nightbreed (Nightbreed).  In particular Kinski and Shuna.
- Ethel Darling (American Horror Story: Freakshow)
- Dawn Bellwether (Zootopia).  This poor sheep must have had a very troubled life growing up, and the worst part of it all being that she just couldn't do anything about it and when she did try to do something -  she got labelled as a monster.  I know some people have made comparisons to Hitler and Donald Trump,  but those aren't entirely fair by any means.  To me,  she doesn't seem like a complete monster at all,  quite the opposite in fact.  To me it seems that she was the victim of abuse growing up and it made her frightened of even her own self because of how society views animals like her i.e herbivores as being 'worthless prey' in contrast to the more ferocious ones i.e carnivores who are viewed as predators, and that she tried to mask her own feelings of fear,  confusion and stress and her weaknesses -  fearing that she would be marked as well...a worthless piece of prey and subject of further abuse,  I can sympathize with her on that.  And I think that if she sought out for someone to help her overcome these problems,  then maybe,  just maybe there is hope for her after all.
-   Annie Wilkes (Misery).  I know she's a nutcase but there's more to her than just being Paul Sheldon's insane number 1 fan.  There are a lot of times in which I found myself sympathizing with and relating to her in a lot of ways and feeling sorry for her,   I know that I should be feeling sorry for Paul but to be frank,  it's Annie I agree with more than him.  For one thing I don't like it when characters I like get killed off (I remember crying when watching "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer" because Jack Black's character Titus got killed and I know his character is a sleazebag stoner wannabe but it's Jack Black,  it just wasn't fair - besides,  his character was one of the only two characters I liked in that awful movie),  heck..I don't even like it in RPs when other people do that to their characters for no good reason or do something equally as stupid like for example changing up the storyline and their character in general for no good reason other than "Oh,  it's much better this way".  I'm sorry,  but having your character do something like that is moronic...don't get me wrong,  I like bloodthirsty characters but if you're just going to completely dehumanize your character and make him/her a demonic psychopath who cares more about killing people for their own gain,  then you have failed at character development.  Heck,  I don't like that when it's done to my own characters without permission -  i'm sorry,  but you do NOT have permission to have your character go all genocidal on my character and his entire species just because of a petty quarrel you had regarding your stupid friend who started it to begin with,  my character never did anything to your character in general apart from teach them a lesson,  and yet you view my character as a creepy nutcase who captures innocent women to make them his brides or what have you? When you're the one who writes a story in which your character commits genocide,  then you're the true pain in the neck here.  Even when it's my own characters or their companions I don't like it when characters are tortured, killed off or abused in someway.  I mean I did a particularly dark installment of a storyline in which my character pretty much physically and mentally becomes the Hessian Horseman and let me tell you - that while the transformations in each storyline are pretty horrifying along with my character trying to control it only to lose control,  nothing was as horrifying as him nearly 'killing' his friend by turning evil and attempting to make her evil as well. Even if it's my own characters,  I don't like seeing them being abused at all.  That includes when i'm reading fanfiction...Grimdark type fanfics like Cupcakes or its sister-story/sort of spoof 'Pattycakes' or Agony In Pink can do horrible things to me and reading them makes me cry a little.  I cried a little reading Cupcakes but wasn't freaked out by it,  but Pattycakes on the other hand creeped me out and made me break down in tears -  I don't know,  there's just something about the whole mental regression part of the story that gives me uncomfortable feelings of dread and depression -  and also because for some reason I have this aversion to lullabies - I don't know,  there's just something about lullabies that tends to creep me out in general -  including the darker meanings of classic ones like 'Rock A Bye Baby' - heck even songs that sound like a lullaby like 'Jigglypuff's song' do that to me (yet the scene with the sirens in 'O Brother Where Art Thou' singing 'Didn't Leave Nobody But The Baby' didn't creep me out as much, come to think of that not even 'Lullaby' by The Cure did that and that song has a lyric that says 'the spider-man is having me for dinner tonight'.   Alice Cooper's Years Ago and Steven did make me cry but they didn't creep me out,  neither did 'Come Little Children' from Hocus Pocus, that one just made me cry for a good reason). So yeah, even when it's my own characters I can't stand to see them being abused, torture or killed off. Yeah,  I definitely see more than a little bit of myself in Annie.  Plus I know that she couldn't help herself.
- Chip Douglas (The Cable Guy). As creepy as this guy is,  he has a pretty heartbreaking backstory of how his parents were never around to look after him and he never had any friends and he was left by himself with nothing but the television to keep him company, yeah...he's a lot on the unhinged side but all he wanted was a friend.  Plus I can relate to that.  In my life I have dealt with friends who didn't have any interest in me at all and were only just using me,  both in real life and OL - especially the latter,  I won't say,  but a certain user pretty much admitted that they only were interested in me because they thought my work was pathetic and that I was a troll, which I was but at the time I was conned into believing he was my friend,  but he flat-out said that he hated me after he found that I was autistic pretty much yelling "ASSSSSSPIIIIIEEEEE!" at the top of his lungs in full on Large Ham mode and he did such things as complain about my avatar (at the time it was Simon Cowell as a cat-monster) and throw a hissy-fit.  How one of my friends on here has put up with that manipulative waste of oxygen is beyond me but if I was him,  I would have reported him and gotten him kicked off the site for good.  I mean that guy must hate people with mental disabilities so much that I bet he'd be willing to pull a Trump and have a wall built to keep them out.  So,  yes...like Chip I have had horrible experiences trying to make friends in the past.  And I never do ask for attention of any sort,  I know I don't have to please others or do as they tell me.  All this guy wanted was someone to be his
friend...and that really wasn't so bad, was it?  Of course it wasn't.
- Maximillian (Vampire In Brooklyn).  Mainly because he's the supposed last one of his clan/bloodline,  that's the reason why he goes after Rita Vedder,  because he needs to find someone to be his lover before the next full moon and Rita is a human/vampire hybrid - so it makes sense it would be her he is after.
- Miss Hannigan (Annie). Especially the 1999 version.
- Edmund Blackadder (Blackadder). Even though his theme song states 'he's a horrid little man',  Edmund Blackadder actually is quite a sympathetic character for me.  He's an insanely brilliant and cunning man who has to deal with people who are either completely nuts or complete morons like for example Baldrick or George or Percy.  And I can also relate to this because i've dealt with people like that all the time on forums and on Youtube comment sections.  Like Blackadder,  i've dealt with my share with stupid people.   There's a reason Blackadder is known for his insults and witty comments,  it's because it's his way of responding to the idiotic and insane things that happen.  He didn't become the smart Blackadder we know until seasons 2-4,  in the first series he was a bit of a bumbling klutz.  There however is a Blackadder pilot for the first season that has him being more like the smart Blackadder we know and love.
- Jareth (Labyrinth)
- Lawrence Limburger (Biker Mice From Mars).  Even plutarkians need love, you know.
- Courage (Courage the Cowardly Dog)
- Julie Walker (Return Of The Living Dead III).  Once Julie becomes a zombie,  it becomes very tragic as she finds that only pain can keep away the zombie-like urges and the insatiable Horror Hunger, in the first movie the 1/2 Lady Corpse states that they eat brains to keep the pain away,  I used this several times in my Hessian Hex saga and also with my Chrysalis RPs.
- Andrew (Bicentennial Man).  This is another Harsher In Hindsight one considering Robin Williams (who played this character) passed away in 2014.  All he wanted was to experience life as a human,  but it got more complicated for him as he wanted to petition world congress to recognize him as a human and not an android -  so that he can be legally married to Portia but congress doesn't allow it because while they have no problems with machines,  they feel an ageless human would result in anger and jealousy among the people so blood is put into his system,  this causes him to age slowly but surely and it's truly heartbreaking.  It's not until the very end where he dies at the age of two-hundred that he's recognized as a human.  Now if that isn't enough to make you cry,  I don't know what is.
- Iris (American Horror Story: Hotel). I feel bad for Iris,  all she wants to do is protect her son Donovan but Donovan doesn't like her and thinks of her as being smothering and overprotective,  but she really does mean well and she cares for him.  She has resided at Hotel Cortez for 20 years as the put-upon hotel manager.  Of course now that she's one of the undead, she and Donovan are a LOT closer than ever before.  I just feel real bad for her though.  I would definitely give her a big hug to make her feel better.
- Helen 'Mama' Boucher (The Waterboy).  While she does come across as the typical Overprotective Mom that we've seen countless times and while she does seem like she is a parody of Carrie White's  mom Margret,  we actually do learn why she acts the way she does and it's to mask the feelings of heart-break she got after her husband Roberto left her.   At first we don't exactly know how or why he left her but it's revealed that he left her to hook up with a voodoo lady named Phyllis,  she puts on the tough facade to hide her heartbreak and because she fears losing her son.  She's not really that bad,  true she originally thought that sports,  girls,  school and Benjamin Franklin were 'THE DEVIL!' as she puts it,  but deep down she really cares for Bobby.
- Keanu Reeves.

A pretty great and interesting list. I would also add another actor from Bram Stoker's Dracula, which is Keanu Reeves. This guy went through so much shit in his life, including never knowing his father who sits in jail, losing his girlfriend Jennifer to a fatal car accident, having his daughter being born as a stillborn (which resulted in him staying single up to this day) and also losing his best friend and felow actor River Pheonix by the time he started working on Speed. I really feel bad for him still being pestered about it, but at least it's shown that he has plenty of friends and that he lives his life to the fullest.
