- The entire villain offspring cast of Descendants. I'm not entirely against this franchise, the idea of a school for Disney heroes and villains has interested me for quite sometime, but basically how it was done in this franchise is basically just High School Musical with villain children and even though it's not a Monster High clone despite the fact I thought it was one even though technically they are sort of doing the MH thing of making dolls of the characters, it doesn't help that Kenny Ortega is the director of these movies. That and I wasn't impressed with the designs of these characters since they looked like cosplayers (Cruella's son Carlos looked like Tommy Lee Jones in Batman Forever). Also regarding the new additions, i'm glad they haven't forgotten Gaston but I don't think Gaston's son would be some kind of pirate type since well Gaston is a hunter. Uma turned out alright, but...I got a Tia Dalma vibe from her.- Collin (Changed). The idea of a game where you are stuck in an area filled with monsters who can transform you into their species or into another monster fascinates me but the problem is...it's Changed, and well it's overexposed and the potential is wasted especially due to the fans of the game favoring those black transfurs and in particular Puro. I'm going to flat out say this, Puro is overrated and I don't hate him or like him but he's just too creepy for me. He doesn't have much of a personality apart from being sort of geeky and liking comics and being affectionate and friendly to Collin and that is it, apart from that all we know about him is that he has 'instincts' that when they act up he basically assimilates you, even though in one of the good endings..it's a willing one. Also it makes me hard to route for him, maybe if I created the game I would have given a bit more into his backstory like have Puro be a fellow survivor of the apocalypse who got mutated, having him be a former human who retained his original personality rather than making him a mindless mutating machine like the others or maybe making it so he is Collin's actual best friend who was with him prior to what happened, make him interested in humans and make him want to find a way to bring all the other people back or to cure the others that had been mutated, or to go with the whole Dr K connection have him actually be Dr K's son or assistant who was turned but didn't want to turn out the way the others did so he decided to condition himself and remove his more animalistic instincts. My other idea for this would be to have it be representative of the whole angel vs devil thing with him basically being Collin's conscience or guardian angel. And have there be two of him, one would be the kind and lovable one representing the concept of a 'shoulder angel' and the other would be basically the killer/animalistic half representing the 'devil'. Make him more complex, make it so that he feels remorse whenever something horrible happens to his friend, make him reluctant to transform his friend or anyone else unless he really has no choice (none of the instincts stuff or however you interpret it), i'd have that Puro has a backstory of being a human who either was Collin's actual human best friend or a worker at the lab who got mutated but he didn't turn animalistic/monstrous like the others and feels remorse for his friend or for any other good human that gets transformed, make it so he regrets it every time it happens, and feels guilty. As for Collin himself I would either have him be related to Dr K or be someone who used to work for him and basically witnessed him going mad and wants to help him fix the problem, or better yet, have it so he is half-creature himself.
- Shane Powers (Lost Boys 2: The Tribe).
- Princess Ahmanet (The Mummy, Dark Universe). The 2017 Mummy isn't perfect and I don't hate it either, but I do find Ahmanet to be an interesting villainess, for one thing she is a powerful ancient mummy princess who can raise the dead, possess people and also prove herself to be a menacing opponent. It's just that instead of focusing on her and the other supposed monsters, they basically focused on Nick Morton (the protagonist) instead. Tom Cruise isn't awful in this role, it's just most if not all of the movie focuses on him and very little of the movie is focused on the monstress herself, and hence why the Dark Universe never really took off.
- Santanico Pandemonium (From Dusk Till Dawn franchise). My main reason as to why I think that Santanico has wasted potential is the television series incarnation, I just couldn't get into the show to be honest as it's just an alternate universe version of the first movie where Richie doesn't die. Giving her a backstory, she already had one..in the third movie, so I don't think a backstory for her would be necessary since we already know her origin and also..am I the only one who is squicked out by how she and Richie are a couple in the series?
- Rayne (Bloodrayne). It's sad that the only movie we've ever gotten about her is one by Uwe Boll.
- Spyro. Yeeeeah, before the Reignited trilogy the closest we ever got to see him returning to the small screen was Skylanders and let's face it...putting him in Skylanders DOESN'T count seeing as he's not even the central character in those games, he's more or less just a guest character and second banana to the main cast. That's like having an Expendables movie where the main group of protagonists are only minor supporting characters and we focus around a group of new guys we haven't heard of before. I'm glad he has returned to his former glory though.
- The entirety of the Sleepy Hollow tv show characters, in particular the horseman. A series based on Sleepy Hollow could have been interesting, heck I could have seen it being similar to the Tim Burton movie version but the problem is...this show doesn't know what it wants to be, it's like Army Of Darkness and The Da Vinci Code dated and then got married and their child grew up on the X Files. If I had my own version of this I would pretty much make it a take on the Tim Burton version as well as a bit like Grimm. The character with the biggest wasted potential is the horseman himself, this could have been the chance to do an unique take on the character like maybe have him be a modern day serial killer or criminal that collects body parts (in particular heads) but what we got was the whole Abraham Van Brunt thing which made me turn into Annie Wilkes. In my version of this I would have definitely gone with a split-personality angle, like have there be two forms/sides to him, one would be would be his human self and the other would be basically be the 'Horseman' side. And I would go with the serial killer angle, basically sort of a modern day Sweeney Todd. and like I mentioned earlier - one of his traits would be collecting human body parts, either for displaying or to replace parts of other humans he killed while he was in his 'Horseman' side. Also the Horseman side would be definitely be represented as either some kind of revenant like Eric Draven or a similar undead being, design-wise this form would be like the Hessian from the Burton version. I would have it so he isn't immediately suspected of killing the citizens, because he tends to absent-mindedly forget to keep his psycho side under control.
- Martin Brundle (The Fly II)
- Dawn Bellwether (Zootopia).
- Bruce Wayne/Batman (Batman and Robin). George Clooney could have been a good Batman and an equally as good Bruce but the writer and director are both to blame for why this didn't turn out well.
- Ellie (Cursed). You have Christina Ricci in a horror movie and not have her turn into a monster herself? Shame on you, okay...she does slowly turn into a werewolf throughout the movie but we don't get to see her morph until the end, and then she gets cured.
