- David Kessler (An American Werewolf In London). Seeing him turn into his werewolf form like that was very traumatic but also tragic in the sense that he could not control himself unlike characters like John Talbain and well...he must have suffered a lot as a result and it must have been very traumatic for both him and Jack.
- Jack Torrance (The Shining).
- Jack Goodman (An American Werewolf In London). He may look cheerful and be cheerful but there's nothing happy about his plight at all, basically a ghost who keeps getting worse and worse each time he shows up, he's extremely tragic. He can't stand being undead...and as he so eloquently puts it...'Have you ever talked to a corpse? It's boring.'

- Julie Walker (Return Of The Living Dead III). Yes, she is a zombie and needs to feed on brains in order to survive but she doesn't want to, she doesn't want to do it and she feels conflicted..these kind of zombies eat brains to survive and it's a requirement but on the other hand...she doesn't want to be like the others hence why she injects herself with sharp edged items, because pain keeps the hunger away. I know I would probably be risking becoming a zombie myself if I got close to her but I wish I could help her gain control of her more monstrous urges.
