My beautiful Loki cosplay~ the beast that broke my back because I'm a crazy boy and decided to make the entire thing in 10 days, immediately after making two graphic novels and also making an Alucard cosplay for my partner on the side. (I am never doing this again).The original plan for Loki was to do him for MCM Expo October 2012, but when Avengers came out and it became apparent that Loki was going to flood October expo, I decided to switch my plans and do him in may before it becomes a sea of Lokis. e__e I also decided to do the muzzle since there wasn't enough time to make the helmet, full armour and cloak.
He still needs work; I want to redo the armour and add gold embroidery at the edges, as well as make the cylinder from the final scene. He might still make an appearance in October, if I work him up to a degree where I'm comfortable entering him into the Masquerade, but it's a big maybe because of how many Lokis are going to be there.
I'm really happy with how the mask turned out, especially because I ran out of time and made it in the space of about 3 hours two days before debuting him XD
Also I apologize for the slightly iffy hair, I was sent the wrong wig and had to use my own hair (which is naturally ginger) so I had to spray and gel it hugely. The wind then decided to violate it the minute I left the hotel, which wasn't great either. Sigh.

Ohmygosh. You're a ginger? Hrm. I'm actually gonna dye my hair black, not only because I'm going to make a Loki cosplay, but also because I want to see what I would have looked like had my hair not turned red when I was younger.

Wow! So where did you find all the bits of costume that you used? Did you have to make them all?

thank you~ I made them all yes xD minus the hand cuffs, which were from a party shop :3 and ahh, why not get a wig? xD saves all the waiting (I was lucky in that my hair is just the right length atm o.o though I'd preferred to have had my wig...)

Hee hee, yep, I'm completely skint. My entire Sherlock cosplay was borrowed, stolen, or made up of bits and pieces (including my only suit jacket. My mum wasn't happy about that).

I know! Luckily the only thing I had to buy for Sherlock was the handcuffs, as I already had the rest. Oh, and the deerstalker, which cost me like £2 from eBay. Okay, so I stole the scarf from my dad.... I gave it back, though!
