Description
She wears jeans like a declaration of war.Her guerilla assault on my affections
A silent song I can no longer ignore.
She laughs like a thund'rous rifle barks:
A sudden, final and fatal affliction,
A sniper's aim to pierce my guarded heart.
She walks away like a bomber jet's payload,
In her wake leaving longing lovers haunted,
Mine just one more life left wayward.
Each day is a storm I can weather no more,
Helpless against her beautiful gauntlet;
For she wears jeans like a declaration of war.

Okay, so I did one read-through, thought it was about a girl with some good war references. Β Second read through, perhaps it's about the lure and damage the war causes, phrased to be a seductive temptress, more literal than I originally thought. Β That's my story and I'm sticking to it....until you say what it's about

Oh that's alright then. There's a bit of a crass interpretation which I worry people will pick up on, a sort of "walk lie Rhianna" angle on it
Your second interpretation is probably closest to the spirit it was written in. It's about a temptress (an unwitting one, but that's not really critical) and the "war" to not be seduced.
Although seeing the word "temptress" there looks a bit harsh really. Maybe it's just a poem about not falling in love.
Just been stalking your publications, congrats! I've dropped you a follow on Twitter

I need to start asking more poets about what their writing is about, I enjoy knowing more about art that I enjoy
I saw! Followed back (on both accounts)

I suspect, actually, that it's incredible how seldom poets are asked "what's that all about, then?". Β I know I don't ask because I don't want to look like an eejit, which is very very silly.
