at last this piece is done.actually around a week ago.
the cape was made from lead sheets then it was colored with acrylic paint.
polymer clay, lead sheet, acrylic paint, GI wire.

If not for the prototype showing the progress, I wouldn't believe that this figure is real! The first time I look at it, my first thought is that you slice it off from an existing figure! It is that good!

Wow, this is quite astounding, how easy is this polymer clay to work with? i notice you added to it at the base, perhaps else where too, so i assume it binds to itself fairly well? do you bake it when its done? Really inventive using the lead for the cape, and it looks fantastic!

polymer clay is very easy to use, like regular clay without the oil.
the base and the fig are one whole piece, both in polymer clay.
yep, you have to bake it...i use a turbo broiler for it (",)
my prof suggested to use lead instead of clay. it is more economical to use (",)
