Is it bad I recognise the actors in the image? Or... at least the left one.

Yay! :3

And by left one I meant the right one... the buy with the long hair. I really need to tattoo "L" and "R" on my thumb muscle area.

The black silhouettes of the lovers have a very chiseled look them with really adds a sense of dimension and depth, like those areas have be chiseled out of sandstone. the world map also has that sandstone feel to it.

The compass lines radiating from the center of the kiss is a special touch.

I think this is one of your top ones.

i think of it as a map with the kiss as the north pole

I can find it all by myself. I am, after all, trained in celestial navigation, so I just follow the stars on Down Under. lol

Yes, could be plumbing the depths in search of...

Do you know what pile driving is? Piles are shafts which are pounded into the ground. The Pile Driver pounds the shaft into the ground, retracts, and slams it in again, retracts, slams it further in, repeatedly.

Driving piles, as opposed to drilling, is advantageous because the ground displaced by driving the piles compresses the surrounding ground, causing greater friction against the sides of the piles.

Making you laugh is a dirty job, but someone has to do it. Not to worry, I am well experienced in mucking around in the bilges. Thank goodness there is plenty of lubrication in the bilges.

Sometimes we had to go down into the bilges to bust loose studs, and MAN were they tight. We used to call it gang-banging, because 3 or 4 of us would take turns hammering on the wenches, until they came loose.

It was real men's work, if you can imagine. 130°F, soaked in sweat, skin slick and glistening, hammering away, muscles bulging, sparks flying. You had to be careful not to strip the threads right off the studs. Yea Man, me Matt, me fix. I ain't no girly-man.

You should try swinging a 25 pound sledge for a while.

I was afraid it would not translate well to you non-mechanic type guys, who don't understand "technical" terms. You know, it's a hands-on kinda thing. XD (Tongue-in-cheek.)

I like this. I like the unfocused, rough quality of the exposure combined with the intimacy of the subject and pose.
