i did say I'd try to get back for a better shot of this, it's a very interesting pattern I found in the bark of a tree in the wood, and I actually found 3 more trees with the same markings, no idea what it is but I can't see us having a prolific woodcarver running through the woods with the amount that's marked! I think it looks like stylised roses, and find it very pleasing. Taken on my Nokia3 smartphone.
