This will be the last contest I'll be entering for now. I'll be posting the commissions soon !
I'll admit, I love mantibab species. They're very creative in design. So I'd like one for myself ! I just made it look a bit cartoony here so I could have fun with the expressions ! Everyone seems to be making use of the original Mantibab style. I wanted to be just a bit different.

Here's some quick info if I would get to claim him:
I only made a few minor changes to it. I'm actually already satisfied with the original design, but I may probably place a mane later on or so. The color reminded me of summer ! Since everybody was drawing it with the God mantibab I wanted to draw something I was having in mind. I gave it a enthusiastic attitude to fit with the season of summer. The horns, it reminded me of corals. He will be very fond of swimming and Popsicles to beat the heat !(explains why the tongue is a bit yellow at the tip. Fruit Popsicles !)He likes sea food too ! Except vegetable-like, such as sea weed. Although he likes to swim, he would also like to feel the warmth of the sunlight on his fur coat. As a rare mantibab, I would probably decide to make him humble. I do not want him to boast of his rarity but that idea seems fine too. It's is mentioned that this mantibab is made of twins that have a strong bond, that explains why I gave it such a bright and active attitude. It is to express the great bond of the twins ! They must be happy, right ? And the glow it leaves ? It's just like he's bringing the gift of daylight !(except for the blinding part.) I said summer themed, didn't I ? This guy right here is very thankful that he is blessed with such gifts ! With these, he likes to show off to the little ones, giving an encouraging spirit to them.. Like a brother ! But sometimes, he's not really a good role model, such as his laziness. I honestly did not want his attitude to be all god-like. I wanted him to be sociable and a very laid back character. Like, at a first glance, it can already make somebody smile ! Well, he has a liking very much to 'cute' objects or people. This gets him off guard in a snap ! Even little and female mantibabs catch his eye ! It's all because of toys he received as a kid, he would talk to them and hug them ! His most favorite was a stuffed toy octopus. Actually, although he's 'cool' he tends to actually get scared or surprised very easily. It's really difficult for them to talk to girls,especially if they are cute. He'd be so nervous. Trying to resist hugging them or such. If he notices something cute, resisting is probably the most difficult thing he's done.
Due to his outgoing and social attitude, he is very very claustrophobic. He can't stand tight and small spaces. Leaving him in an enclosed room for far too long or even 30 minutes or less can make his actions and attitude change. He will become twitchy and find a way to escape as soon as possible. If he's left with no more ideas, he'd faint.

Although he is not a leader himself, surely he would want to keep other's spirits up for he does not want to feel any negativity from his surroundings. He likes to be peaceful with it. He enjoys to lay down on his floatie and relax. Chores are just too much. Just chill ~ the name, I will decide after the results are in.

I wanted to give a very simple description for now. Because I think if I were to include 'more' it may not fit the theme very well anymore, such as the twins themselves. I'd like to keep it for later, I guess. Well I just hope that the description was enough to bring out the main and ideal characteristics that I wanted to be eye-catching and easily noticed throughout the character itself. I find simple neat. I don't want to go to a very complex explanation at this point for now, I'm sorry.
