Description
For the most part, you should not use a plain oval for a word balloon. That looks tacky. You might as well use Comic Sans for your dialogue. Ecch!In Krita 4, the Bezier Curve Tool with AUTOSMOOTH CURVE checked on lets you make slightly irregular but technically perfect word balloons literally by connecting the dots. The OVER and UNDER layers mentioned here are in Mojo comic book template v2 , in which this tutorial/tip page is included for reference.
If you don't letter your own comics, check out Nate Piekos' Blambot fonts, and also his lettering/layout tips for getting it right.
