Thanks very much. I render at 8,000 Density, 0.8 Filter Radius, and 3 oversample. I don't know the math behind it all, but these values were suggested to me by a fellow fractalist.

That must take 3 days to render. I've rendered at 500, 1,000 and 2,000 and can't see a big difference between 1,000 and 2,000. My laptop would blow up if I rendered at 8,000.

LOL! Actually, it doesn't take that long. A bit longer than the lower settings, but still reasonable. It also depends on how intricate the design is, I have found.
