Damien is the type of person that loves to go out of his way to talk to and meet new people. He is interested in the different types of personalities there are in the kennel and truly enjoys seeing everyone there find themselves and be happy. As he is always full of energy, the pup will often drag his friends outside of the kennel's walls to either eat or go play a sport. Staying in one place for too long makes him incredibly restless and somewhat irritable. For the most part, however, he thinks the best of the world around him and will find anything to make himself happy with whatever situation he is in. This idealistic nature of his causes him to be somewhat dense on certain things, but he tries his best to hide it.
Being a grown male with hormones, Damien tends to have a tendency to think dirty thoughts every once in a while. He's also not afraid to tell dirty jokes every now and then, but he refrains from doing it around cute girls because he wants them to think he's a gentleman. Sometimes it's hard for him to understand other people's feelings, causing him to be insensitive and blunt at times. Damien thinks very highly of himself and will often try to spread his wisdom to others. Truth is, however, he's a dunce. Even so, when he does care about someone, he becomes super clingy to them and wants to spend all day with them, which could easily tire someone out if they can't keep up with him and his antics. Should anyone he cares about ever find themselves in danger, no matter how small, Damien has been wired to throw himself in and protect them at all costs.

[ S U M M A R Y ]
Damien was born in a litter of three. He was taken away by a cop to become his K-9 partner. Being as hyper as he was though, he never quite took training seriously, causing him to miss out on a lot of information taught to him. The consequences of his actions caused him to tragically lose the person he was closest to. After going through a mild case of depression, he was brought to the kennel in hopes that he could find happiness and companionship there instead.

The only thing the pup knew at first was the feel of being sandwiched between his two siblings. Every now and then, one of them would kick the other involuntarily, causing the other to squirm in discomfort. A domino effect. They all grew up together for a few weeks with their mother and father. Damien and his siblings were quickly separated, however. Damien hadn't the faintest idea what happened to his brother and sister, but he himself had left with a kind man who was part of the police force. The pup quickly learned that he was expected to grow up with this man as his K-9 companion. As soon as he was able, he was put through careful training in order to become just that.
There was one problem: Damien didn't follow orders the best. He wasn't necessarily lazy. On the contrary, he loved to run around with his master and play fetch and whatnot. There was just something about being told to do boring things like "sit" and "halt" didn't appeal to him. He usually had to be bribed with food to do the boring tasks. A lot of the things he was supposed to be learning flew right over his head. For the most part, he only did what was needed to pass. The bare minimum. Even so, he didn't hate his companion. Even though the man pushed him to do boring tasks every day, he was also the one that took care of Damien. He was fed, walked, and, most importantly, loved by him. Damien, in return, showed him the utmost loyalty.
There was a point where he was almost done with his training, almost ready to venture out into the real world and tackle real crimes. Unexpectedly, there was one crime that required as much help as they could get. Damien and his partner were called out to help. The pup was nervous, to say the least. He knew the criminal they were dealing with was armed. Obviously, something could go very wrong. He tried his very best to help the police force he grew up with and trained with, but the worst possible scenario happened instead. Several loud bangs sounded, followed by a thud behind him.
Blood.
Damien smelled something all too familiar. It filled him with dread. Behind him was his fallen companion with his hand on his chest. He was beyond saving. From that day on, Damien had lost the motivation to continue his work in the police station. With the person he loved the most gone, he didn't know who it would be that he'd be trying to make proud each and every day. Seeing that Damien no longer held the desire to be a K-9, the police decided it was time to let him go. They gave him a single parting gift, a green bandana. With this single item, he was brought to the kennel, where Damien decided that it was time to move on with life and make new companions during his time there.

The bandana the cops gave him was stolen by Pyonni last year. He gave up on trying to get it back after he realized he didn't miss the police force anymore.
His favorite color is green.
He's not a horrible cook, but he's also not great either.
One thing he's not good at sports-wise is swimming. He can only doggy paddle. Though he has been trying to learn other strokes from members of the Fish and Weasel divisions.
