His large cat like grey-blue eyes scanned his surroundings and his body looked tense. Essena stopped as a big dark stallion with scars and ram horns walked past her. At first he scared her but as h looked around she poked her head up. Suddenly his voice boomed as he yelled. She came out of the shrubs as she shook violently as she revealed her small agile body.

He turned around, his large strong feather hooves sunk into the earth. His sharp rams horns barely visible and he walked closer to the small horse. He was able to see clearly her coloration and her body language. Spending almost 200 years at the base of this volcano is was able to produce a second eyelid that wiped the ash from his eyes, sparking the ability to see clearly. He stood tall over the mare, looking down on her.

She looked fragile and harmless to him, her scent gave away that she was a mare and he leaned his head down getting close to hers. He bared his fangs to her making sure to intimidate anything of dominance out of her. “Why are you following me?” His voice was deep and he grumbled looking into her very soul. He was studying her. As Essena was kissed then nudged to go back to her herd She did so " as my master commands " she dint want to leave his side but her legs carried her back. Essena walked passed the brown stallions. she ignored them as they stared "What the hell happened to her?" on said as he asked the other stallion. he shrugged unaware of her dark presence. Essena rolled her eyes. Mortal stallions.... she thought.

Essena went home. Normally she would be outside but she didn't want to be around stallions. She wanted her master. Essena relaxed and she went to her balcony and saw Apollyn Running below. She wondered where he was going but she didn't care. She sighed and then lay in her soft bed.
