Suffice it to say that this piece is very impressive. Your use of icy blue tones in the surrounding water and ice blends nicely with the black rock hills and plateaus in the distance. In contrast, the warmer hues of the sun and what I assume is either the orbiting satellite of this world, give off the impression of a world rich with life.
The rusty tones of the moon give a nice vibrancy to the piece that does not take away from the impact of the the ice bridge in the foreground, but rather balances it, much like the feeling of a warm sun on one's back and chilled winds in one's face during the aftermath of a snowstorm.
The details of the cliffs in the background of the right-hand side of the picture are not lost in the mists by their foundations, and shows the effort that you put into achieving a sense of realism that one could mistake for a photograph of an alien world. The deliberate symmetry of the ice bridge towards the steps down the center gives the impression that it was shaped by intelligent life, animal or otherwise, and the plateau that it leads to feel as if it houses an area for gathering for either social or religious purposes.
