I love how the colors and everything turned out on him, and you certainly captured his happy demeanor
You got his design down really well, too, just a couple very small stripes missing on his face (which I have managed to forget too.. XD) I adore this though, thank you so much!!!!

I lose details on this guy xD Like a new painting I did of him yesterday, got the shape of the blue feathers wrong... and completely forgot the purple patch on his neck on an acryluc painting... he's just complex

I've only gone back to my parent's once this semester...and I just don't think I have enough room in my dorm for me to paint

I live in dorm 50km from my home, so my situation is better in this area
And as student of art school I must paint and draw in home. So in dorm we've got special room for big formats and oil paints

I'm only 2 hrs from my parent's, which isn't too bad, I just choose not to go back for personal reasons XD
And I'm at a big engineering school to study Biology... room for art not included XD

Our rooms are small too, we can get reprimand for painting in our rooms (but it's much better to paint with friend in warm, cosy room than sit in cold cellar called "atelier", so noone keeps this rule XD). It's Art and Music School's dormitory so I don't understand :C Even with watercolors we must go to this cellar D:
