Name: Negavi Morta
age: unknown
height at the shoulder: 15ft
personality: She is impatient, bossy, easily offended, wise, generally has good intentions, and composed no matter the situation.

why she glows
Negavi feeds off 'glares' which give off an intense amount of light even once they have passed on. Because Negavi can't survive intense light for a long period of time, she lets it drain into her wings and eyes and slowly releases it, making her glow. In periods of hunger or weakness her body might be pure black (light doesn't reflect off shadows).

Negavi's eyes.
She has eight on her face. The rest are along side her body. She can open and close them at will. Her version is poor in bright light, but supreme in darkness.

Negavi's 'breath'
Negavi's breath is a choking black smoke that is electrically charged. The smoke comes from eating the glares (they burn her insides as she eats them)

where she lives.
Negavi lives on the outskirts of her realm, near a place called the in between. It is there that she hunts glares that venture too close to her realm. The reasoning...She fells that since she is one of the only shadows capable of withstanding the light from the in between that she must be there to protect her people from the glares that can easily pass into her realm if she wasn't there guarding it. The most persistent of which is young halos the glare prince. The intense light from the in between causes her body to 'decay' sending black smoke into the air around her form.

Negavi started off as my 'villain' she really didn't have much of a back story, and not much of a personality save she wanted to kill every thing.
Now that I'm older she's still the bane of all humanity, but to her people she's nothing short of savior.

now for a little history.

First you need to know that my stories are linked by some what parallel worlds. Sometimes these worlds meet, and merge. Brom happened upon Negavi's world.
Upon entering her world he found himself in the midst of a war between two very different races which he referred to one being the shadows, and the other the glares. The world was split into places where the sun would shine for years and then places where the clouds were so thick that it was pitch black. The races could never meet in peace for just the presence of the other would start to poison them, and yet without the light the shadows would die and without the shadows the glares would fade away.
The different races both tried to dominate each other, but without avail.
Negavi was the chosen protector for the shadows, their leader given to them by Levonia (who I really need to redraw). She was the one who discovered Brom and once she learned that there were lands beyond her own world sent scouts into Brom's world to see if the shadows could live there. Of course Brom's world unlike hers, had night and day. Those she sent often died terrible deaths un able to survive in the ever changing conditions. Eventually she gave up on the idea of leading her people into Brom's world, and instead how to rid her people of the glares.
