...I don't normally take bribes...

but a good friend on mine just happened to really really want a painted miniature dragon from me.

of course these things are not cheap and I can just go out and get them whenever I feel like it

but he offered to buy the model, the paint, some brushes I desperately needed, and a feather pillow for me (what? I'm not about to turn down a cushion for my face) XD

so he brought this guy for me and said something along the lines of 'think wild hunt but dragon.'
and honestly this had to be one of the funniest projects I've gotten to work on in a while.

I love working on these minis (if you can count this one as a mini he's huge)

anyhow hours of dry brushing, glazes over the eyes tongue and parts of the wings to make them super shiny (though its hard to see here) adding a little modeling snow to the top of his perch and currently working on some touch ups and detailing that I missed and I think that he'll be finished, and ready to go. <333
