Description
This is Koyuki Tanaka, from Harold Sakuishi's BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad. Its a great manga/anime to read and revolves around a young Japanese Rock band.This was done by painting over Koyuki from the manga (yes, PAINTING, not the cheap stuff where people color over manga). It was pretty time consuming (though I took my time with it) and I tried my best with the guitar. This was first tackled on photoshop cs4 and finally finished on photoshop cs5.

If Mr. Saukuishi hadn't done some shading on the drawing in the manga i'd have a harder time coloring on it.

yeah pretty much, i just followed the shading on the manga picture. the shirt including shadows is pretty much just 3 colors, could hav had more shading range. background was like bleh i was confused.
